Cutting and grinding of swings
We need to cut the ends of the wooden board into arcs, use 120-grit sandpaper to coarsely grind to remove burrs, and then use 240-grit fine grinding to a smooth surface and rounded edges. If the wooden board has joints, it needs to be coated with waterproof glue and clamped for 24 hours to prevent rainwater from penetrating and cracking.
Drilling and anti-slip of swings
We drill symmetrical holes 10cm away from both ends of the wooden board and swing frame, with a hole spacing of 50cm, and the edges of the holes are polished smooth with sandpaper to avoid rope wear. Stick anti-slip rubber strips on the seat surface, or drill holes to install anti-slip screws.
Installation of swing ropes
After the rope passes through the hole of the wooden board, tie a "double fisherman's knot" on the top, and wrap the knot with waterproof tape 5 times to prevent loosening. If a chain is used, a metal ring needs to be installed in the hole of the wooden board, and the chain is connected to the seat through the ring to avoid direct friction with the wooden board.
Fixing the swing
We wrap the tree trunk with a soft canvas belt or rope protective cover, pass the rope or chain through the protective cover, fix it with a metal hook, then drill holes in the concrete beam, insert bolts and install gaskets and nuts, and fix the rope hooks on the bolts. Finally, adjust the length of the ropes on both sides after hanging to ensure that the seat is level and prevent the swing from tilting.
Inspection and protection of the swing
After the swing is installed, we place a heavy object on the swing to test the load-bearing capacity and observe whether the hanging point and rope are loose or deformed. Lay a rubber mat or sand on the ground under the seat to prevent injuries in case of falls; regularly check whether the rope is worn and whether the knot is loose. It is recommended to replace the rope every 3-6 months.

Because this swing is made for children, the seat needs to be equipped with a safety belt, avoid using chains for ropes, and the height of the hanging point should not be too high.
